Duties and responsibilities
  • Internationally recognised research in biochemistry.
  • Supervision of students at all levels of higher education.
  • Initiating, planning and preparing research projects at national, European and international levels.
  • Publishing in reputable international scientific venues.
  • Participation in completing and managing the research team involved in the project.
  • Seeking additional funding opportunities at the national and international level.
  • Performing at least one managerial task at the university is recommended.
Required qualifications
PhD or an equivalent qualification.
Required experience
  • Wide experience in the field of heterogeneous catalysis.   
  • Experience in implementing and/or leading research projects.
  • Prior publication in international scientific journals.
  • Significant teaching experience at the higher education level.
  • Experience in supervising other researchers and students, including (co-)supervision of PhD students.
  • Proven track of raising private or public research funding.
Required language skills
Fluent in Estonian and English.
