The Opportunity The Department of Chemistry and Biologyin theFaculty of Scienceat, is pleased to invite applications from all qualified candidates for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Molecular and Cellular Biology with interests such as, but not limited to, DNA repair, replication, or organization, epigenetic mechanisms, RNA processing, export, or translation, mechanisms of translational regulation, or mechanisms of metabolic regulation and adaptation. The appointment will be effective July 1, 2020, subject to final budgetary approval. This position falls under the jurisdiction of the Ryerson Faculty Association (RFA) (). The Department of Chemistry and Biology consists of 37 tenure-stream faculty members. The Department offers three undergraduate programs in Biomedical Sciences, Biology, and Chemistry, and graduate programs at the Master’s and Doctoral levels in Molecular Science and Environmental Applied Science and Management.
