University Title -Visiting Assist Prof of EEOB Working Title -Visiting Assist Prof of EEOB Department -Lima Campus Department -Location Lima Requisition Number -462537 Summary of Duties Individuals with a Ph.D. in Ecology, particularly those with a background in behavioral ecology, plant biology, or other organismal biology, are invited to apply for a full-time two-year position as Visiting Assistant Professor of Evolution, Ecology and Organismal Biology at The Ohio State University at Lima for the academic years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023. The department seeks an ecologist with a strong commitment to the teaching, research, and outreach missions of The Ohio State University. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate surveys and major courses in their area of expertise and serve as an advisor and research mentor within the Biology and Zoology majors. Teaching duties may include a mix of introductory and upper-level courses for both biology and non-biology majors. In addition, the position will require the potential for a distinguished record of service and scholarly research. Candidates must have a PhD in hand at the time of appointment; ABD candidates will be considered; post-graduate teaching experience is preferred. Salary is competitive.
