Postdoc positionLast application date
Job description Up to 3-year postdoctoral position funded by the Belgian Excellence of Science (EOS) program to perform research in the framework of the MODEL-IDI (MOlecular mechanisms of cellular DEath and Life decisions in Inflammation, Degeneration and Infection), a research consortium made of biologists, immunologists, chemists and physicians that aims at performing fundamental research on the biology of cell death modalities and their consequences on the onset/progression of diseases.
The research group of Prof. Bertrand focuses on the elucidation of the molecular mechanisms regulating stress-induced cell survival/death, as well as innate immune/inflammatory responses, with a particular interest on the role of post-translational modifications, such as ubiquitination and phosphorylation. Research in the group is conducted at the biochemical, cellular and in vivo levels.
