Subject Food Technology with a focus on Nutrition. Subject description Research in food technology with a focus on nutrition. The subject concerns consequences and mechanisms of overnutrition and malnutrition, and other physiological functions of importance for the health of the consumer. The health effects are studied in relation to chemical and physical properties of food as well as changes in intestinal microflora, composition and metabolism. The research focus on nutritional aspects in an international from an Agenda 2030 perspective. Examples can be malnutrition and deficiency diseases in industrialized- and developing countries. Work duties Employment as an Assistant Professor is a career development position, which aims for the holder to develop his or her independence as a researcher and educator. Qualification requirements Appointment to Assistant Professor requires that the applicant has a PhD or acquired corresponding research expertise. Priority should be given to applicants who have completed their degree or acquired the equivalent expertise no more than five years before the last date for applications.
