As a department comprised of scholars conducting interdisciplinary research, we seek an outstanding scientist with research interests broadly related to biochemical pathways in humans, plants, or other research models. Researchers who integrate cutting-edge methodologies, including systems biology, computational and machine learning approaches, high-throughput screening, and techniques for studying macromolecular dynamics and interactions, are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an internationally recognized and extramurally funded research program, interact with diverse faculty, staff and students across campus, and contribute to the teaching mission of the department and university. The candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses and mentor undergraduate and graduate students. Course modality is generally in person. The potential may exist for teaching online/distance courses during the academic year.
