Job #: 078511 Position DescriptionThe Department of Biology at Syracuse University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the broad fields of Ecology and Evolution. The successful candidate will be expected to complement and build on existing research strengths within the Department, which span a diversity of scales and systems. Current departmental research areas include evolutionary genomics, microbial ecology and evolution, reproductive evolution, organismal functional morphology, organismal ecology, community ecology, and ecosystem science. Research may range from gene to ecosystem scales, employing approaches such as functional genomics, behavioral, physiological, computational methods, as well as acoustic and satellite remote sensing and field experiments.
