Position DescriptionThe Division of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) invites applications for a tenure-track or in-residence Assistant Professor position in Biomedical Informatics Research. DBMI seeks world-class scholars whose research advances data-powered health and biomedical discovery. The division’s current research portfolio exceeds $23 million per year in extramural funding, with active involvement in national programs such as the NIH All of Us Research Program and large-scale projects supporting the NIH, VA, CDC, and the State of California. Appointments will be made at the Assistant Professor level, in the Ladder Rank (50%) / In-Residence (50%) or 100% Ladder Rank series, depending on qualifications and funding.
