Position Description
The Department of Cell Biology at Harvard Medical School invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor tenure-track position. We are seeking researchers who define and address fundamental areas in cell biology, ranging from biochemical and genetic analysis of complex subcellular processes to organismal processes with cellular foundations. Our interests span a diverse range of areas, including cellular, molecular, and structural biology, biochemistry, and organismal neurobiology. We are also interested in researchers who are developing innovative approaches and new technologies to explore and visualize dynamic cell biological processes.

A core mission of ours is to educate and mentor the next generation of scientists to succeed in a wide variety of careers. Our successful candidate will become a member of the training faculty in the umbrella Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) program, the largest of Harvard University’s biology Ph.D. programs, and will typically participate in additional, topic-specific graduate programs within the Harvard Integrated Life Sciences (HILS) system.

Basic Qualifications
Candidates must have a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
