Working with only minimal supervision, and often independently, performs tasks that support the setup and active research of a new aquaculture multi-stressor climate wet lab. • Daily 20% Aquarium system upkeep and organismal care: Works largely independently, and sometimes managing others (e.g. undergrads) to ensure that laboratory organisms (marine invertebrates and algae) are cared for. Assists in setting up and testing the new marine aquarium system for housing inverts/algae, takes a primary role in husbandry, performs water quality testing and food preparation/feeding.

• Daily 10% Laboratory management: Attends lab meetings, meets regularly with PI for progress reports and guidance, provides general lab support duties such as purchasing necessary supplies and equipment, maintaining stock of necessary items, assisting in lab chores as needed.
