Job Status: Full-time OverviewThe Chair will provide strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of the Department and is responsible for its personnel, administrative, educational, and research/scholarly operations. The next leader will establish innovative curricular, training, and research programs to advance the Department to a position of academic and professional eminence while furthering the goals and mission of the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. The Chair is expected to promote team science within the Department and in collaboration with other departments at the Miller School of Medicine and the University of Miami. They will serve as a role model for faculty while fulfilling administrative responsibilities and representing the Department at functions with UHealth, the School of Medicine, and the external community.
