Position Summary:

We seek a recognized leader with proven leadership and management skills as well as an outstanding academic background. The Chair will provide strategic, academic, and administrative leadership of the highest quality to this distinguished department in its research, teaching, and service missions.

Principal Duties:

The Chair will participate in leadership and service activities to the School, the University, the state of Wisconsin, and the profession.

Degree and Area of Specialization:
Ph.D. or equivalent

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
Substantial background and experience in administrative leadership, research, and teaching, including training programs for the full continuum of neuroscience learners, and a strong academic background that would qualify for appointment as a tenured professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
