We are looking for a colleague who is passionate about education and dedicated to support the VU/UvA joint degree Master’s programme for Bioinformatics and Systems Biology Job descriptionAs junior lecturer you will be involved in various teaching-related, and organizational activities, and will work together with coordinators, lecturers and other junior lecturers that are active in the courses of the existing curriculum. We are specifically looking for candidates who have a strong affinity with all aspects related to the field of Systems Biology, including programming, molecular & cell biology, mathematics, machine learning, quantitative data analysis and computational modelling.
RequirementsThe candidate must have completed a Master’s degree related to Systems Biology, Quantitative Biology, Computational Biology, Computational Science, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics or Mathematical biology. Candidates who have completed or are close to completing a PhD in the same area, are particularly encouraged to apply for this position.
What are we offering?A challenging position in a socially involved organization. On full-time basis the remuneration amounts to a minimum gross monthly salary of €2,960 (scale 10)
