The Department of Experimental Biology, Section of Animal Physiology and Immunology, is a modern, fully equipped workplace conducting research from molecules and cells to invertebrates and humans, spanning basic research to applications in human and veterinary medicine.


Job Description / Key Duties

  • Active participation in the preparation and implementation of immunology education for BSc, MSc, and PhD students

  • Creation of educational texts

  • Dissemination of knowledge in experimental biology to the general public


Skills and Qualifications

Must have:

  • PhD in Animal Physiology or a related field

  • Ability to perform independent teaching and experimental activities

  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken)

  • Excellent command of Czech (written and spoken, C2 level; certificate required for non-native speakers)

  • Practical experience with in vivo experiments using mice, including protocols, inflammation, fibrosis, tumor induction, and primary cell isolation

  • Knowledge of experimental work with extracellular vesicles

  • Practical experience with flow cytometry methods

  • Active cooperation with Czech and international experts in the field

  • Active, motivated, and willing to grow professionally

  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills

  • Civic and moral integrity
