The Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry Centre has an international reputation in the genetics of psychiatric disorders and is a thriving research centre where genetic analysis is embedded into its research studies. We seek to appoint to an academic role that will strengthen and diversify the statistical genetics capacity of the Centre.

You will play a key role in developing and executing research in statistical genetics, performing innovative independent research in statistical genetics methodology and applying the methodology to genetic studies. You will establish a research program as Principal Investigator that attracts external funding to support your research projects. To complement this, you will also develop collaborations with other research groups in the SGDP, building the multi-disciplinary research that is a core component of the SGDP's mission. You will also contribute to the educational programme, including undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses.

This post will be offered on an indefinite period.

This is a full-time post.

The selection process will include a panel interview, an assessment, a presentation.
