This is a fixed-term post for 18-24 months
Applications are invited for the prestigious King's College London Prize Fellowships, supported by the Wellcome Trust.
These fellowships seek to recruit outstanding postdoctoral basic or translational scientists who are looking to establish their own independent research careers. These prestigious awards will provide a generous salary plus running expenses (c10-15K per annum) for 18-24 months. They will enable appointees to establish their own research programme at King's and to compete for post-doctoral Fellowships/Senior Fellowships from Research Councils, the Wellcome Trust and other AMRC charities. The awards may be held in any part of King's College London but must be focused on biomedical or health-related research.
Applications should be made via the King's recruitment system and must include:
Covering letter (indicating fellowship applications planned or pending) CV (including 2 referees) Outline of the proposed research programme (4 pages) Explanation of choice of host Research Department and academic sponsor (1 page) Letter of support from proposed academic sponsor The closing date for applications is 5th December 2019. Interviews for shortlisted applicants will be held in January.

Grade and Salary : be Grade 7: 46,293- 55,534 per annum inclusive of 3,500 London Allowance per annum.
