The School of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences (BABS) has an international reputation in biotechnology, molecular and cellular biology, and microbiology, including proteomics and genomics, gene regulation, metabolism, environmental microbiology and infectious diseases. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will conduct bioinformatics and laboratory research in RNA biology and assist in the supervision of honours and postgraduate research students as required. Research projects range from investigating the role of long noncoding RNAs in cell biology, development and brain function, the structure-function relationships of regulatory RNAs, and the role of ultraconserved elements in the human genome.
