Description

The He lab at UC-Berkeley is one of the pioneers in non-coding RNA (ncRNA) biology. The He Lab employs novel approaches in mouse genetics, genomics, cell and molecular biology to understand the functional importance and the molecular regulation of various non-coding elements in development and disease, including microRNAs (miRNAs), long ncRNAs and retrotransposons. The He lab is also well known for its development of novel genome editing tools in mammalian genetics. The PI Dr. Lin He received the prestigious MacArthur Fellowship in 2009, and is currently a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Faculty Scholar. More information about The He Lab can be found via helabucb.weebly.com
