The School of Immunology & Microbial Sciences at King’s College London is seeking to appoint a Reader or Professor of Immunobiology within the [Peter Gorer Department of Immunobiology](https://www.kcl.ac.uk/sims/our-departments/peter-gorer-department-of-immunobiology). This is an outstanding opportunity to shape the future of experimental and translational immunology research at King’s and strengthen the UK’s position in this critical field. We are looking for a motivated and visionary scientist to establish a world-leading research programme in fundamental experimental immunology, with potential for clinical translation. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in lymphocyte biology research that complements or strategically aligns with the ongoing immunobiology research in the School. They will drive high-quality research, secure major grant funding, recruit outstanding fellowship candidates, and contribute to research-led education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. There will be excellent opportunities to collaborate across disciplines, including Immunology, Infection, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Cancer, and Translational Medicine.
