The successful candidate will participate in Computational Biology & Genomics related and Bioinformatics research programs.

 

Applicants must have a PhD degree in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics or related disciplines with relevant work experience in the analysis and interpretation of large omics data sets including WGS, RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, microarrays etc. Hands on experience in programming and developing analytical pipelines and a strong background in biostatistics are essential. Understanding of basic molecular biology and genetics is preferred. Exposure to different sequencing technologies (Illumina, Nanopore, PacBio) will be an asset. Applicants must be self-motivated, capable to work independently as well as in a team and have good communication skills. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)

 

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
