Research Associate-Fixed TermApply now Job no: 691704 Position SummaryThe Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition seeks a Research Associate to work in Dr. Rita Strakovsky’s Perinatal Molecular Epidemiology group. The primary responsibilities for this position are to manage and perform biostatistical analyses on various epidemiological datasets, prepare abstracts and posters/presentations for scientific meetings, contribute to writing manuscripts related to perinatal epidemiology and fetal/women’s health, and help graduate and undergraduate students with these tasks. Specifically, the applicant will contribute to research that is part of several recently-funded NIH awards related to the impacts of maternal diet or body composition on fetal development, as well as the impact of endocrine disrupting chemical exposures in pregnancy on fetal development and maternal long-term health. The initial appointment period will be for 1 year, with possibility of extension based on the successful achievement of work goals and the availability of funds.
