Our group is interested in both fundamental studies of their functional diversity, and their re-design for metabolic engineering and therapeutics. The postdoctoral position involves protein/enzyme biochemistry, functional and structural characterization (including EM techniques, x-ray crystallography, x-ray footprinting), and synthetic biology-based approaches in vitro and in E. coli.
