The Professorship for Reproduction Biotechnology is looking for a Research Associate (m / w / d) at the earliest possible date

 

The Weihenstephan Science Center for Food, Land Use and Environment at the Technical University of Munich in Freising-Weihenstephan comprises seven research departments and six faculties of study. 

 
The Professorship for Reproduction Biotechnology is looking for a Research Associate (m / w / d) at the earliest possible date

 
Tasks: 
• Analysis of the importance of T cells in the context of infections using genetically modified chickens # • Continuation of work in the area of B cell development in chickens 
• Creation of new genetically modified chickens 
• Participation in teaching immunology and reproductive biotechnology 
• Taking over tasks in the field of animal husbandry 
• Supervision of PhD students, Master and Bachelor students and interns 


Conditions: 
• Completed doctorate in scientific, medical, veterinary medicine 
• Knowledge in molecular biology, cell culture and especially immunology is desirable 
• proven experimental animal experience 
• A sense of responsibility, care and reliability 
• Teamwork and flexibility 
• communication skills 
• Good IT-Skills 

 
Our range: 
We offer a full-time position as a research associate. The position is initially limited to two years. The employment takes place with appropriate remuneration according to the collective agreement for the civil service of the countries (TV-L). The university aims to increase the proportion of women. Qualified women are therefore urged to apply. Handicapped persons are preferably selected if they have substantially the same qualifications and qualifications.
