Reporting to the Director, Bioanalytical Mass Spectrometry Facility, you will support researchers and users of the BSMF with the successful completion of small molecule and/or IRMS projects. Additionally, you could participate in the development of projects to expand the types of mass spectrometry capabilities within the BMSF. 

The Organisation

The Bioanalytical Mass Spectrometry Facility (BMSF) is a research training facility within the Mark Wainwright Analytical Centre (MWAC) with expertise in Proteomics, Lipidomics, small molecule and Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IRMS).

Who you are

You can demonstrate your experience supporting researchers with bioanalytical mass spectrometry services in an analytical chemistry or biological research setting, as well as knowledge of the operating principles of mass spectrometers, separation systems, IRMS &/or small molecule analytical methodologies.
