Senior Lecturer in Vertebrate Physiology (Macquarie University Department of Biological Sciences)

The Role The Department of Biological Sciences is seeking an engaging and inspiring teacher in the field of vertebrate physiology. This is a specialist teaching and leadership role that is focused on enhancing the organisation and delivery of teaching and improving the student experience within the Department, particularly in the Bachelor of Medical Sciences and related Bachelor of Science (Human Biology). The emphasis of this role is on pedagogic innovation, governance and leadership across the University and strong leadership of academic programmes and activities. We are a leading research and teaching department, conducting research at all levels of biological organisation and across diverse taxa. Essential

PhD in vertebrate physiology or a related field
Demonstrated excellence in developing and delivering high quality teaching materials and in developing curricula
